I am a granddaughter of Frank and Elizabeth Pace, great-granddaughter of Jim and Cora Pace, and great-great-granddaughter of Jack and Mary Pace. My favorite Family Reunion memory is my very first horseback ride at my first Texas Reunion. It all happened on Uncle Buddy's Ranch in Shepard, Texas.
Malaika Berry-Pres. Chicago, IL. My grandmother was Ida Mae Pace, daughter of Frank & Elizabeth Pace(nee Coachman). My favorite memory was seeing all the joy from the family the 1st time Chicago hosted the reunion. It’s always a great time with the Pace Family and I’m looking forward to many more!

Hey Family I am Le’Joy Purdom Representing for Chicago IL. I am the daughter of Pastor Dr. Angela L. Purdom, and Rodney R. Purdom. The granddaughter of Ida Mae Pace and William L. Kates, and the Great Great Granddaughter of the late Jim and Sarah Pace. I’ve been to some great family reunions in different States, but the one that tops it all was when we had it for the first time in my hometown The Chi, The Windy City, Chicago IL. This was a challenging but a great opportunity to set and let the visitor know we Chicagoans can take on the task, and create something new and fun for everyone at the Family Reunion. I even started the trend of doing a Chicago Fashion Show and Talent Show creating a collection of my own to support and have family members to be apart of the Fashion Show. I then kept the trend of doing Fashion Shows and Talent Shows at other Family Reunions, just to always keep the youth engaged. We also had a bus come and pick up the family to do some site seeing around Chicago land area, a tour of Downtown Chicago and going to the Infamous Navy Pier🎡 with doing a little shopping. It was something different and new that the Chicago Family wanted to provide, a great time and experience for everyone at the Chicago Family Reunion. After that we’ve been the talk of the town since then I must say. It’s been a minute since we had another reunion in Chicago, so (Just a little sales pitch) I think it’s time for Chicago to bring it back so that whoever missed the first one will definitely get more and the full effect now that things has changed for the better. I am greatly honored to be apart and one of the representatives for the Chicago Family, who Malaika Berry had set the tone and passed the torch down to me🔥💜🙏🏽

I am Jeanette Lesine, Treasurer of the New Jersey chapter. My grandmother was Eva Pace one of the daughters of Jim and Sarah Jane Pace. Her grandfather was Jack Pace. I have many fond memories of attending the Family Reunions growing up. My most memorable reunion was Detroit 1999. It was the last reunion that both my sister and mother attended. My sister had stage 4 breast cancer but she was determined to attend the reunion. My mom was also ill and attended as well. They had a great time and got to see all the family one last time. At that reunion my sister volunteered New Jersey to host the 2001 reunion. We had never hosted it before. She was such a positive person and knew that we could do it. My sister passed in August one month after the reunion and my mom died in December of the same year. It’s hard losing loved ones but I am grateful for the love that we have for each other. It’s always so good seeing Family and being greeted with hugs and genuine love. Family is so important to me and I’m so grateful we have stayed connected over the years.
